S3 datastore: Bucket name does not match the regex pattern

Hello,

I'm trying to create a new S3 datastore, using Elastx The Vault.
Either using webui or adding to datastore.cfg i get:
schema validation failed: Bucket name does not match the regex pattern

I've setup s3 endpoint with path-style: true

Elastx sets bucket prefix with <tenant-id>.<my-bucket-name>

PBS currently does not allow for periods in bucket names, as this has potential pitfals with virtual host style bucket addressing and certificate validation. This is ducumented as best practice by AWS: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS...amingrules.html#automatically-created-buckets.
Is the tenant id bucket name prefix enforced by your provider? A workaround might be to use a CNAME record in DNS.

Yes, unfortunately.

A workaround might be to use a CNAME record in DNS.

And they don't provide virtual host style url either, so that won't work.
