SMART status for one of my disk is shown as unknown by pbs.
"Show smart values" button returns "Bad Request (400)".

Output of smartctl -H -A -j /dev/sdb :

hi, yeah sadly thats a bug

smartctl returns a non-zero exit code under some conditions
in your case it returned 32 (bit 5) which means:

Bit 5: SMART status check returned "DISK OK" but we found that some (usage or prefail) Attributes have been <= threshold at some time in the past.

we sadly throw always an error when the exit code is != 0. i'll send a patch to fix that

Is this perhaps related to this issue with one of my nvme drives? The other nvme drives with very similar smart data works as expected.

Error getting S.M.A.R.T. data: Exit code: 2 (500)

Oh, just noticed that this is issue is on PBS, not on PVE. Perhaps it translates though.

I am experiencing the same error with the latest version of PBS:

Bad Request (400)
command "smartctl" "-H" "-A" "-j" "/dev/sdb" failed - status code: 1 - no error message

Update and see if it is fixed then:
(The pbstest repository is not necessary for this anymore!)
