I setup proxmox on ibm bare metal server I plan to use opensense to handle all routing of my VMs and LXCs and do not want double nat. I configured pci passthrough on the public ip nic and all works fine with proxmox it accesses the internet and all.. the issue is I put proxmox management console on the private network provided by ibm bare metal server i can access it through vpn. but the management server cant connect to the internet to do updates or download templates...i reached out to ibm support and asked how i can get access to the internet from the private network...they said not able to.
I asked about getting two public ip address on an additional nic interface .... my server shows 4 nic interfaces. They are not understanding what i need and are not familiar with proxmox...
Any one have a idea on how to get the management console able to acccess the internet to update and download.
if there is a simplier way to get all to work that would be great but i dont want proxmox handling the routing for the VMS and lxcs that is what i want opensense for.
I do have multiple public ip addresses i purchased.
I hope this make sense i tried looking online and cannot find any answers.
thank you
