Hello,
I am using Opnsense in a VM on proxmox.
I have a web server that I have setup and a 4 port NIC with one of the ports going to the WAN and another one going to a management VLAN.
I have setup the system and it works fine for the LAN but the mgt VLAN whilst I can access it locally and remotely via a VPN doesn't have access to the WAN?
The network is as follows:
LAN 192.168.2.0
Mgt 192.168.20.0(for proxmox management interface)
WAN an external address
I can access all the VMs and CTs from proxmox remotely so that is not the issue but I cant get out on the WAN for the hypervisor shell connection or do any updates?
Since its only a web server I didnt use a switch and the ports are going directly from server into the WAN only, if I need to manage it on site I created a separate management port and this works fine, when I tried to make it in the same subnet as the LAN it was not working so I needed to make it on a separate VLAN.
Has anyone had this issue and any tips on how to allow WAN access to the management port as I have tried a few things nothing seems to be working other than this issue the LAN seems to be working fine.
Thanks.
