The gist is that you can setup Debian in AWS and there's support to install PMG on top of a plain Debian installation, so there's not much difference to other setups (besides possibly network environment), so the installation and setup docs still apply.
The ISO installer is in general meant to be rather easy and quick, but also a bit less flexible, for example in terms of complex disk partitioning. That, and the reason that we explicitly base off the excellent Debian distribution anyway, made documenting a way of installing Proxmox Mail Gateway on top of an existing Debian setup reasonable.
