Running maintainance Tasks

Suddenly today under "Running maintainance Tasks" pve displays a
task which was performed a month ago.
I cannot stop or abort the task. I isn't running but only displays in the
controlpanel.

What could be the cause of this and how can i correct this ?

try to delete /var/lib/pve-manager/vmops

# rm /var/lib/pve-manager/vmops

Yes, its gone now.

No, it is they way we try to detect if a process is still running. Seems that PIDs get reused somehow.

Just fyi: Yesterday when I was watching the Virtual Machines window, I suddenly saw a task appearing under "Running Maintainance Tasks" for a short while. Can't remember if it was a "create" or "migrate" task, but after about half a minute it disappeared.

I was in a little panic, but I guess pve monitoring the PIDs of the tasks explains this.
