So, I have installed Proxmox 7.3 on a Dell Precision 3630MT with a Kingston 250GB m2.nvme all went good.
I shutdown the the computer to remove one of the memory module to return the pair that consist a bad one.

So, after being disappointed with the shipping delay of the new memory, I decided to install pfSense. I powered up
the Dell...it cannot find rpool, WTH. How do I permanently fix this? I downloaded 7.4 in case that fixes the issue.
This is also disappointing...

Bad RAM will corrupt all data you write/edit. Maybe that bad RAM corrupted your disk? Keep in mind that ZFS can't to anything to prevent data corruption when that data gets corrupted in RAM before writing it to disk or after reading it from disk. Thats why you should use ECC RAM with ZFS, as otherwise you can't trust the bit rot protection feature of ZFS.

You could try to boot a Live Linux with ZFS support and then try to import the pool with the "zpool import" command and see what error message it returns in case that pool isn`t importable.

I had installed Proxmox with three good RAM, and not with the bad RAM. So, when I extracted the third RAM module, maybe that corrupted the ZFS file structure. Hopefully, I should get the pair this week and will reinstall with Proxmox 7.4...thank you.
