If I understand correctly, in order to rename a file within storage, the Proxmox interface doesn't give a way to do it, but you can't just go to the location of the file without also renaming the file in some other config or index file, otherwise Proxmox would have some trouble with the changed name ..?
Is it intended in the roadmap for the product to change this?
The reason I ask is because I already uploaded various .iso files to storage, and noticed that the organisation of files doesn't have a lot of features for searching sorting grouping etc ... which made me think I should perhaps rename them according to some format that helps me find the one I am looking for and to tell them apart where there are similar ones, but there is no way to do this that I can see, and I would prefer not messing around with config files where I can avoid it, especially if making a mistake may mean having to upload these very large files again.
I am just a home user, learning how to set up a home lab, so all this is new to me, if there is already an article on this which I didn't see, can someone point me to it?
