Hi!

I'm playing around with HA and fencing.

In the /etc/pve/cluster.conf posted in http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Fencing there is a section "<rm>"

I can't find that section in documentation. What is it used for? Where can I read more about that?

regards
Lukas

"Resource Manager"
This is what manages the resources of the cluster, in the case of HA VMs in Proxmox the resource manager starts the HA VM.

The example on the wiki for Fencing using the IP address is also useful, set an unused ip address on the same network as your proxmox nodes.
Resource Manager will then ensure that IP is on one of the working nodes in your cluster.
Now you have just one IP address to use for accessing the GUI regardless of what nodes are up or down.
