Hello all,

i've installed here a fresh new Proxmox PVE. Now is see the sources.list:
Code:
deb http://ftp.at.debian.org/debian bookworm main contrib non-free non-free-firmware
This is the default. But on https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Package_Repositories i see there more:

Code:
deb http://ftp.at.debian.org/debian bookworm-updates main contrib non-free non-free-firmware
# security updates
deb http://security.debian.org bookworm-security main contrib non-free non-free-firmware
So the question arises as to what is the recommendation here and what is correct? Because I had tried to install Samba here, but that was not possible without the source for security updates.

Default should be those 3 Debian Repos.
I wonder why the "bookworm-updates" and "bookworm-security" are missing on your freshly installed PVE.

But looks like your sources.list already got modified? I didn`t install a PVE8.1 yet but until 8.0 it was adding those 3 Debian repos but without the "non-free" and "non-free-firmware".

Found it, my faul. It was an automatic failure from/after the Installer (Puppet)
