retreive backup by machine name in configuration

Good day
I had a few change over the time and it made the VM number of some VM change
So for exemple my vm #100 had an other number before (that I don't recall)
I'm using Proxmox backup 2.4-6
I would like to get an older backup (under the old VM number that I don't recall)
I was wondering if there was a faster way to retrieve older backup then going over each bakup and clic on configuration button to find the machine name I have maybe 50 VM and each VM will 10 to 15 backup...

Is there a search by machine name (that is inside the ''Show configuration'' button)

Hi,
unfortunately not, mostly because extracting the configuration is not a cheap operation. Backup notes were introduced to alleviate the limitation: https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/chapter-vzdump.html#vzdump_notes

thank you for the answer I did find the backup Note option on PVE8, I dd manage to find my restore by going one by one, so once I will finish migrating all my VM from PVE6 to PVE8 I will have this new option, thank again
