Hi,

What is the best way to restore an OpenVZ/VZ7 container to Proxmox?

When using pct restore it starts the conversion to LXC;

Code:
recovering backed-up configuration from '/vzdump-xxxx.tar'
Formatting '/var/lib/vz/images/108/vm-108-disk-0.raw', fmt=raw size=2147483648
Creating filesystem with 524288 4k blocks and 131072 inodes
Filesystem UUID: 4d04c21e-3cfa-408f-ba5d-f61cc532c11a
Superblock backups stored on blocks:
        32768, 98304, 163840, 229376, 294912
restoring '/vzdump-xxxx.tar' now..
extracting archive '/vzdump-xxxx.tar'
Total bytes read: 1237360640 (1.2GiB, 1.2GiB/s)
Architecture detection failed: open '/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory

Falling back to amd64.
Use `pct set VMID --arch ARCH` to change.
merging backed-up and given configuration..

Please check the configuration and reconfigure the network.

/etc/os-release file not found and autodetection failed, falling back to 'unmanaged'

But after configuring the network and attempting to boot the CT I get this error;

Code:
__safe_mount_beneath_at: 1106 Function not implemented - Failed to open 51(dev)
__sync_wait: 36 An error occurred in another process (expected sequence number 7)
__lxc_start: 1999 Failed to spawn container "108"
startup for container '108' failed
