Restore from PBS failed - node gone

I started a restore from a PBS backup, which failed somewhere on the way of restoring. Now the node is gone, deleted from PVE. So I'm not able to start another restore attempt, at least not within the GUI.

Any ideas how to restore the node?

Regards

in the gui, click on the PBS storage, select backups, select the backup you want to restore and click restore

Edit: Are you sure that the node is gone? I take it you mean the guest

Hi Matthias,

thanks for the reply. I'll try this evening when I'm at home :)

I might not be pretty versed with the PVE terminology but I'm sure that the node is gone because it does no longer appear in the tree underneath the data center (like prodX in the screenshot from the admin manual)

Sorry, I misunderstood you. That's indeed a node.

Did you try to restore the node or a guest on the node?

Sorry, I was wrong. It's a guest what I tried to restore and which is gone now: the used to be a container with ID 100...

That's great, because restoring a guest is very simple :)

Your backup is stored on one of the storages (e.g. local, PBS, or one of the others). Select that storage and then the backups section. There, you can select the backup you want to restore, and click "restore".
This will give you the restore window you are already familiar with.
