Bonjour,
I'am doing some backup test :
I have a question :
For the backup :
if i use the promox-backup-client to backup , for example my home directory to a name space on pbs no problem.
if i use the promox-backup-client to backup , for example my home directory to a name space with encryption ( with --keyfile ) on pbs no problem.
For the resaturation :
From the command line , i can mount via fuse the encrypted and not encrypted backup if i want to restore, no problem.
From the PBS gui, i can restaure the file from the backup not encrypted.
From the PBS gui, i can't restaure the file from the backup which is encrypted. It's normal, because i didn't put anywhere the key for the decryption. No problem with that.
Is it possible to have for example a pop up windows when we want to restaure a file, to put the encryption key, so we can do the restauration from the gui, jsut the time for teh restauration ?
Maybe it's already possible but i didn't find the option anywhere.
Thanks for reading me
