Restart proxmox server from webapplication

Hey all,


When I restart the proxmox server from the web application, it send the command to the server and then, it freeze and it displays this message :

Stopping Qemu Server - sending shutdown to all VM's

After like 3-5 min, it finally restart, but is it normal that it takes so long to do a reset ?

Because you VMs does not react to the ACPI shutdown event. You should configure you VMs to cleanly shut down when they receive a shutdown request via ACPI.

Thank you for your reply but how to set this ? it depends on the OS ? I only use Linux OS, but I will do some searchs on it.
