resizing lvm lxc proxmox

Hi

We have VPS servers on nodes with LVM thin and lxc. We can upgrade VPS hence increase the size of disks. But if a customer wants to downgrade say from 50GB disk to 25GB disk it does not seem to work?

Is this possible and safe to perform? and how?

Secondly if the above is not possible. Is there a way to change to directory structure like Openvz used to work? That used to work well.

Ok found a way.

Basically:

stop the container
Edit the lxc conf file of the container and adjust the size there
Backup the container
Then restore the container

and it should have the new reduced disk size.
