Request update to ubuntu 20.04 template

requesting update to ubuntu 20.04 template to include gnupg 1 or 2 missing from template and requires extra steps and installs

GNUPG in template install missing altogether but is installed under workstation/desktop install

hi,

you can do apt update && apt install gnupg

we don't make the ubuntu template ourselves, it's from upstream.

container templates usually don't have the same amount of tools/packages preinstalled, that way the size is smaller.

yes i know these packages are essential for adding and removing gpg key for repos and adding repos i think it is an essential package

my request is to have this package added to template

we automatically add packages which are marked 'important' or 'essential' by debian/ubuntu.

you can tell them to change it for gnupg and it would be included automatically in our next template update.

alternatively you can build your own template and add the package. [0] [1]

the reason we don't want to add packages on request is that there will be other packages also requested
