Renaming the backup and restoring

I observed if we are renaming the backup files it is not getting restored!
whereas the unEdited file name is getting restored properly.

I wish to give the Relevant file names, can someone help me how to rename the files and restore when needed.

Yesterday I took the backup of a VM

vzdump-qemu-101-2023_05_23-14_56_45.vma.zst
I renamed the Backup files twice as below.

vzdump-qemu-101-WebServer_25May2023.vma.zst
(Prefix Remain Same)

2
WebServer_25May2023.vma.zst
(Prefix differ)

For option 1 while i click the Restore the popup window loads well , where as for option 2 Rename the popup window of Restore , does not show up !! (No matter how many times i keep clicking the "Restore").

I wish i can store the VM backup with the names such as WebServer-Backup-25May2023_TimeStamp.vma.zst.

mhm... i don't see a reason why we should block the restore on the gui for such files... can you check https://bugzilla.proxmox.com if we already have an open bug for that, and if not, feel free to create one
