Hi guys, I had 3 dedicated servers all of them in cluster mode.
  • S1
  • S3
  • S4
I got rid of S3 server got deleted by hosting company, thats fine. I forgot to delete a Template VM on it and it seems now the server got deleted from the cluster by itself it seems.

Thats great but now it still shows on the dashboard

What should I do now. I am guessing the reason the node still shows there at the dashboard its because that VM and I'm worried now further VMs that I create will be messed up since it seems PROXMOX creates VMs under IDs and now the chain will be broken.

check the contents of /etc/pve/nodes

try to delete the old template config in /etc/pve/nodes/s3/qemu-server that should remove the entry in the gui

if there is nothing you need from the 's3' dir, you should be able to delete that as well (maybe back it up first, just in case)
