[SOLVED] Removed disk from storage - every day i get smarterror mail

Hello,

we insert sometimes a disk on us pveserver to do some halfyearbackups... the problem is after copy the file i removed this disk, after that smart is sending every day an mail that this disk is not available anymore.

How can i configure smart that it only check disks that i would like? Or maybe an blacklist for disks. ...is there a better approach?

/etc/smartd.conf is what you are looking for - also contains a lot of examples how to configure which disks get monitored, "man smartd.conf" contains even more
