Is there a way to remove faulty backups from the history in dashboard (see screenshot).

I know that it will disappear after 30 days but it would be great if I could remove it instantly

there is currently no way to remove tasks. why exactly would you want that? having that information is not really bad..
also you can reduce the timespan of the dashboard as an alternative

The only chance is to delete the log files by hand (or script). They are in /var/log/proxmox-backup/tasks.
You should also remove the faulty log lines from the /var/log/proxmox-backup/tasks/archive file.
