Remote Workstation using Proxmox

Hi,

for some CAD projects, I want to base on a vanilla Linux machine and access it‘s Desktop from a Mac to make use of the resources of my big KVM server running PVE.

What protocol should I use best? VNC?

hi,

SPICE has better performance and more features than VNC (like copy/paste and filesharing enhancements) but to run the viewer in macosx you might have to build it [0] or use homebrew [1]
