Remote syslog problems

Hello.
I have defined: System->Reports->'Syslog Server'(an ip address).
But the Mail Gateway does not send logs to out central syslog server.

I have marked the traffic from the MAIL GW at the syslog server using iptables, and can not see any packets from MAIL GW.

How to debug the problem?
