I am finally implementing my testing phase of Proxmox on my Dell r620. When my tester comes in within 5 minutes he gets disconnected then the VNC connection drops and then the web page stops. The VM's that I have given my tester access to we can't stop. We have to close them from the CLI.

Any thoughts??

what do you mean with "the web page stops" ?

Fabian,
the remote user is dropping and the IP address stops responding to him. I am connected to 1 interface and he is connected or a different one. It seems like the other interface stops working or resets then after x amount of time it comes back online. I did have one instance where all interfaces stopped working and I had to reboot the server to get it to come back up. We are using an Unifi Dream Machine Pro. We are connected over a meshed network from a 24 port Edgeswitch(2019 version) to an LR to a 2023 U6-Lite that is connected to the Dream. I have a NetGear cable model that is few years old but still does a great job.

I did connect to the firewall and disable all of the security settings and had him connect and it seemed to start working but after a few minutes he was still disconnected. I am working on getting a SSL wildcard certificate for the router and proxmox. I am hoping that that may help??

Any thoughts?

this sounds more like a problem of your network than of the PVE host..

Fabian,
It only affects users who come through the VPN connection. I can connect to it without issue locally. So if I have the remote user try to SSH into a server.

it still sounds like something is misconfigured with your network/VPN, which is outside of PVE's control..
