Hi Guys,
PROXMOX is acting as a Gateway for my EXCHANGE 2003 server.
About 90% of my SPAM is to non-existent addresses (i.e users who have left the Company). Is there a way to use a recipient deny or recipient allow list to instantly reject them?

hi,

we use greylisting against this.

if earlier valid user gets emails, its nesserary to inform the sender via NDR - so just not answering is not the solution.

thanks for the link, for some case it could makes sense. But take care - spammers can analyse if the mail addresses are valid or not.

If you use greylisting, you give NO information to spammers and this is what you need.

Regards,
Martin

hi,

we implemented LDAP queries, so you can easily configure your proxmox to reject unknown email addresses. please check the current admin guide.

note: you need the professional version to configure LDAP
