Recovering or changing password on in acssible VM

I have a customer that we installed a Proxmox V2 or 2.1 Server with Windows Server 2003 as an actve directory Domain controller.
The person they employed to do on site support left under bad circumstances and removed admin access from all users on the domain.
We do not know the Administrator password on the domain and we cannot get into recovery mode on boot of the Windows VM since we cannot press F8.

We have booted the VM with Parted Magic and can see the files we need to get off, but we cannot activate a devise to copy them to.

Any suggestions would be great.

why u cant press F8 key?

F8 works without problems (by using the default VNC based Console), what problem do you have here?

Had a look at the link you sent.
Procedure we have been trying.
Turn VM off.
Start Console
Start VM.
Press F8 key to get into boot options.
Click send keys, try all at various boots.
Cannot get into boot options.

Ok, let's try with another way:
Start with a linux live cd.
Mount c: in rw
Edit file boot.ini according to this:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/239780
Now save and reboot. You will find the option for safe boot.
If u cannot use arrow keys, put the safe mode as first in boot.ini file so will start automatically.
