Recover LXC containers without configuration

Hello everyone,

I've been running proxmox for years and it's been excellent. However, recently I suffered a hardware failure with the disk that is running the OS. However, I still have my other SSD with my containers intact, am I able to recover the volumes?

And if I am, could I make them into new containers?

yes you probably can. what kind of storage did you use on that drive?

if you remember how they were configured approximately, you can get them in a working state

you can try plugging the disk and adding it back to PVE, then you should see the volumes and can configure the containers to use them

if you run lsblk -f with the disk plugged what do you see?
