Hi.
I need to setup a dedicated storage in a data center to be accessed in a 3gbps vswitch, where to store up to 24Tb of files shared across 3 virtual machines running on three proxmox hosts at 2gbps each.
Now locally I use nfs storage with a fast qnap nas to store and share the data with the virtual machines, but in a datacenter environment which is the best and easy solution to create a shared storage for files and backup?
Everywhere I read that using freenas as virtual machine it's a really bad idea, but also I read blogs where people's run virtualized freenas in proxmox , with the physical hard drives assigned managed direclty from the virtualized freenas...
I need to setup a solid storage for the virtual machines.
I hope to receive some recommendations.
Thank you for the help!
