rebooting node, unmounting configfs takes forever...

it's still there... what can be the cause, how to solve?

cman status:

# service cman status
Found stale lock file

what that means?

meanwhile I rebooted with

echo 1 > /proc/sys/kernel/sysrq
echo b > /proc/sysrq-trigger

but would like to understand what happens and how to manage...

I'm having this problem too on all of my nodes and have to bring them down hard. What can we do?

Any resolution to this yet? I am not having the same issue on all updated nodes, about 14 of them. On 3 nodes i waited 4 hours for it to reboot. But they were stuck at Unmounting Configfs. The only way to reboot is to physically push reset button of the node.

The problem disappeared for me after one of the Proxmox updates awhile ago.

We have not seen this issue in our clusters in a while. So i think it has been fixed. Even the problematic 3 nodes i mentioned in my posting last year in this thread reboots just fine.
