Hello,

i'm fairly new to proxmox and i have already fallen in love with it.
I'm currently testing a 3 Node Setup.

pve00 / pve01 / pve02 are the nodes.
I have added them all to the same cluster and i've installed ceph on all 3. All 3 Servers have 4 OSDs and a single pool.
I have also setup 3 VMs for HA. pve01 and pve 02 have priority 2 and pve00 has priority 1.

If i restart pve00, it will only restart pve00. But if i restart pve01, pve02 will restart and vice versa.
I can't seem to find out why.

Perhaps someone can point me into the right direction or what logs to check?
I've checked the logs of dmesg, ha_manager, cluster status, ceph status, duplicate macs / ips..

What am i missing? Could this be a fencing behaviour? Why doesn't this occur on pve00?

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Normally this behavior point to a network problem.
What do you see in the logs in the fenced nodes?
