I have 2 hosts with proxmox and so 2 nodes. they are in working cluster and everything is running well, except when I want to restart one node using the cluster GUI , it doesn't matter which node I reboot, the other one is also rebooted, test this multiple times . Do I have a wrong setting in my setup or is this a bug ?? I have a valid Proxmox subscription

Do you have HA (high availability) enabled on the cluster?
If yes this is expected (when you reboot node 1 node2 does not have quorum and fences itself) - see the reference documentation:

if you need HA and still want to run with 2 nodes only consider setting up a qdevice:
