Hi,

One of my 6 v5.3 nodes cluster crashed last week (due to motherboard failure).
The other nodes fenced the crashed node and all involved Vms have successfully migrated to another node.
I can see that the 4 Ceph OSDs of this node are marked as down and out.

Dell support changed the motherboard early this morning.

I shutdown all related interfaces on the switch before reconnecting the node on network.

So simple question, is there a special recommandation you could give, and what to do in order to reconnect the node on the network ? Is it safe to just put interfaces back online ?

Hope can anyone help me.

Thanks in advanced !

Antoine

Hi everyone,

I put the node online early this morning.
Everything is working as expected. :)

Indeed, Ceph re-balanced datas on OSDs.
