Anyone know if this network adaptor is going to work in Proxmox?

TP-LINK TG-3468 Gigabit PCI Express Network Adapter

Supposedly based on Realtek RTL8812AE chipset.

PS. not sure if this is an installation or network question so went with my best guess ...

Most common network cards are supported by the Linux kernel and should therefor work on PVE - I'd wager that this one does too, but you can ask your distributor/the manufacturer if Linux is officially supported.

My personal opinion: Realtek cards are often a bit shoddy for server use-cases. Had one that would only work every second boot or so, another would throttle down to 10 Mbit/s after a while... Might have just been unlucky though.

100% agree. I have seen most of Realtek Nics working but some of them are not ok, especially when you have a lot of traffic. In my own opinion if I can I choose Atheros who are better, for a little bit more money. Even better will be Intel ;)

Good luck/ Bafta.
