Hello masters!

I am a proxmox newbie

i'm trying to create a NFS Storage to with "VZDumb Backup" content, but i am receiving the folowing message:

"create storage failed: mkdir /mnt/pve/[storage id]/dump: Read-only file system at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/Storage/Plugin.pm line 1421. (500)"

How can i solve this issue?

Thanks!

Hi @hander , welcome to the forum.

In this case the PVE is an NFS client and your remote NFS storage is NFS server.
The NFS server controls access permissions. The fact that your client (PVE) receives a R/O error from the server indicates a misconfiguration of your NAS. You should review your settings there.
One way to troubleshoot is to attempt to mount manually.

Good luck
