I need to join two PVE physical servers into a cluster, but both have the same numbering scheme for the KVM and OpenVZ vms: (101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, etc) Is there an easy way to renumber these VMS say 101 = 121 102 = 122 and so on?

The hard way would be to backup and restore the vms with a new number.. but I want to avoid doing this.

Thanks.

Hi,
i think backup and restore is the easy way.
Of course you can edit the config-files and move the disk-files and so on. But it's easy to do a misconfiguration.
If you use lvm-storage, you must also add and remove lvm-tags. In the openvz-conf you must rename all devices...

Backup/restore need not so much brain ;)
