Re-creating linked clone VM from disk images

Got myself in a bit of a pickle trying to fix my cluster config, and on my remaining node PVE lost all knowledge of the VMs I had configured. The disk images are all still there, but I need to re-create my VMs. I was able to recreate a full clone VM pretty easily by just creating the VM config in the UI, then importing the qcow2 disk image. What I'm worried about now is how to recreate the VMs that were created as linked clones from a template. Are there any detailed steps for how to do that?
 
nm...figured this out with the help of ChatGPT. Create the VM in the web GUI or via CLI, use qm set to attach the existing VM disk to the new VM, and you're good to go. I was over-thinking things because of the linked clone thing but as long as the base disk exists as expected, everything's fine.
