RAM Usage report incorrect

When running

free -m

and
http://www.pixelbeat.org/scripts/ps_mem.py

python ps_mem.py

The memory shows up as around 1523 MB used, and 2431 MB free

However, in proxmox, it indicates that my VM has used 92% of its memory already.

Am I missing something here?

P.S. The KVM VM is running Fedora 17 if that makes any difference.

Proxmox displays memory usage on the host side. Usage inside the VM is something totally different.
