RAM memory problems

Dear, I have a Proxmox Server installed in version 7.0-11 with 3 VMS. One of them is a File Server that is consuming 100% of the RAM in the PVE Web interface, but when I access the OS. from the VM and I check the memory usage does not reach 30%, who knows what this could be?

Install the QEMU Guest Agent and enable the balloon driver (even if you don't use ballooning with the VM) and usually the memory reports match more closely.

And it's debatable who is wrong. In my opinion your Windows shows incorrect RAM usage and PVE without the guest agent the more correct one, as for me RAM that is used for caching is still used and not free. Linux would call this "available" and not "free": https://www.linuxatemyram.com/
