Raid Suport on Asus Server

Hi,

We are thinking on buying some Asus servers to install proxmox, this servers came with PIKE 1078E raid controller, does any one use this raid controller with proxmox? Is this supported?

me too, but i have an asus server with PIKE6480(software raid card) but proxmox didn`t know that as raid card and show me HDDs seperatly in proxmox installation and system didnt boot and installation , if i buy a PIKE1078(Chipset:LSISAS 1078) hardware raid card,would proxmox know that as raid card?
