Hello! Looking to setup 5 new nodes and I wanted to double check my understandings before I dive in. I have the requirement that 3 of the new nodes need to be completely standalone if needed and the other 2 nodes will do HA. I'm trying to figure out if I can use centralized management in this situation but it doesn't seem like it. The only way to get centralized management is to join them to a cluster and if I join them to a cluster then the standalone nodes won't be able to configure themselves in a silo, right? I know that if I don't join the standalone servers to a cluster than then I need to setup a quorum device for the HA servers which is fine. Thanks in advance!

It's either all nodes in the cluster or keep a node completely standalone.

You could try to utilize the Proxmox API to create an external management tool that is able to handle your 2 node cluster (never a good idea BTW) and the three other nodes.
