Questions using a Proxmox Backup Server PBS with multiple different remote PVE site locations

I have some PVE proxmox servers setup at different locations and recently installed and started testing a Proxmox Backup Server PBS.

I read in the PBS documentation at https://pbs.proxmox.com/docs/backup...ster-key-to-store-and-recover-encryption-keys the following info:
Without their key, backed up files will be inaccessible. Thus, you should keep keys ordered and in a place that is separate from the contents being backed up. It can happen, for example, that you back up an entire system, using a key on that system. If the system then becomes inaccessible for any reason and needs to be restored, this will not be possible, as the encryption key will be lost along with the broken system.

It is recommended that you keep your master key safe, but easily accessible, in order for quick disaster recovery. For this reason, the best place to store it is in your password manager, where it is immediately recoverable.

At the moment I will not setup any encryption.

I read the thread at https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/how-to-restore-backup-on-another-server.125292/ which seems that PVE sees PBS as a datastore and should see all backups of other PVE.

I would like to know if I connect several different remote PVE servers to a single PBS without encryption will all the different PVE servers see all the different backups and be able to restore a backup from a different PVE site?
I would like to understand if I can consider the PBS to allow simple disaster recovery and migrating lxc containers using the PBS backups to different PVE servers? Or does each PVE server only have visibility to its own backups it generated on the PBS?

Thank you

Yes, you can use PBS to allow simple disaster recovery and migrating. But keep in mind that VM IDs from different hosts may clash if you only use one datastore. To avoid that, you can define more than one datastore, i.e. one datastore for each host (or cluster).
