Hi,

First of all a big thanks to the Proxmox team for this fantastic product!

I have a question regarding backup in 1.4. I have 1 Master and 3 slaves, and previously I did all backups to a local dir in pve-root, /backup. Now after upgrading I can still add this as a storage to the master, but I can't manage to add it to slaves.
What I would like to do ist to dump selected vps on the same host they are running and later on, sync them on an internal backupserver.
The old jobs seem still to be around, but I can't say how and if they still work, since I upgraded yesterday and the next job runs tonite... Now I am a bit scared that ALL backups will end up on the master.

Will I need to do this manually with vzdump.conf ?

Thanks in advance for any tips and pointers,
Christoph

A storage is considered to be available on all nodes (even if is is not shared).

It should work as before - I do not see a problem.

Thank you for your fast reply. Yes, you're right, once I added the backup storage to the master I was able to create backup jobs for slaves also.
