Questions about how to use storage

I've recently come into some hardware that I think might be useful to use in a homenetwork. My research so far indicates that Proxmox might be a useful tool to make that happen. I'm very new to this, and have some questions of a very general nature. I haven't yet installed the system, but am wondering. I have a 1TB NVMw disk, and a second 1 TB ssd. My intention is that I will install Proxmox onto the NVME, and use the ssd as storage. I also have a 1 TB ssd that currently being used as storage on my primary home computer. Can I use the storage ssd on my home computer , or would be better to use it instead on my Proxmox? Any thoughts?

This is confusing.. and probably not in the good part of the forum.
Why would you want to use the ssd from your home computer?

Proxmox VE can use both your disks, the system itself is quite small (you could give it 50 GB in your setup), then use thin-lvm or zfs to store your VMs disks on the remaining part of the NVMe, and on the other SSD. That will give you almost 2 TB  for the VMs, which may be fine for a home net no? :P
If you need more, then you could set up a file server on your home computer to share with Proxmox (Samba, NFS..), or add it in Proxmox and export it to your home computer.. but I'm a bit confused about your question there.
