I have a question regarding iterfaces, bridges and VLANs, and how to disabled any access to ProxMox on certain interfaces/bridges.
My proxmox sits on a vlan with no internet, however I have one interface or bridge setup in proxmox that sits on my LAN with internet that I assign to VMs. I also use this bridge interface to give proxmox internet temporarily for updates by simply giving the bridge interface an IP address and gateway.
My question is, how secure is just removing the IP and gateway from that bridge interface. Is this enough to stop all traffic from hitting proxmox on the LAN interface.
What are the other ways I can do this?
Thanks!
