Question about snapshots

Hello Proxmoc Community

After testing Proxmox VE for a wile now and now i´m a little bit confused.
To make backups i´m using the snapshot feature of vzdump.

So far everything is working fine.
The "problem" starts after the restore.
For me snapshot means that i have the 100% same window state after restoring like it was at the moment when the snapshot was taken (e.g. OS with 3 open windows->snapshot, restoring the snapshot ->OS with the same 3 open windows)
Doing it with the vzdump snapshot i get an empty OS screen. Is this normal?

the snapshot does not include the RAM, so after the restore you will have a powered off guest.
 
so is there a solution integrated in proxmox or have i to use a different program :confused:
 
So if someone is able to do that programming (i´m absolute uncapable :p ) i -and i guess not only me - would be very thankful
