Has anyone managed to get vmware player working under a KVM host?

I get an error saying it detects and incompatible hypervisor when it trys to load a VM. Is there a way or maybe a

Only reason I need this is because I have an older QNX vmware image that is apparently incompatible with KVM. :(

you cannot run vmware inside KVM - makes no sense. convert it, see http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Migration_of_servers_to_Proxmox_VE

what OS do you use in this old vmware image?

I wa sonly trying to run vmware player as a workaround.

Its an old QNX 4.x vmware image. The image refuses to boot when converted. Research has pointed it to a QNX issue in which it has an issue access the virtual disk for boot.
