Hello ,
And already thank you for the help and time you are giving me.
I administer a proxmox server (ve-5) (64BITS). I needed to resize the disk space of a vm that is in VMDK format.
For this, the only way is apparently to convert the vm to RAW, resize it and then convert it back to VMDK.
To do this I apparently needed the qemu-utils tools (which I installed with the command apt-get install qemu-utils) The installation seems to have been successful. Except that after this installation I lost access to the web console (web interface), but the machines hosted on the hypervisor and the network in place were still working.
In order to solve this problem I only had to uninstall the packages previously installed. (qemu-utils) and that's where the big problem comes in.
Since this uninstallation, I still don't have access to my web interface and worse still, I don't ping the ip address of my hypervisor anymore.
The only way for me to connect to the hypervisor is to switch to backup mode.
But in this mode the configuration is like zero.
Do you know how this problem is possible and if there is a way to go back or in the worst case recover the VMs or virtual disks that are present on this hypervisor?
Thank you for your help.
