QEMU Guest Agent non Running Windows10 Guest

Hi
Everyone i have install qemu guest agent and in the windows services is up and running, but in GUI of Proxmox says "Qemu guest agent not running"
i try to disable and renable the Qemu agent from the option of the VM but nothing changed.

Hi,
did you shutdown+start the VM after enabling the guest agent in the options? Otherwise the change might not yet have been applied. See also: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Qemu-guest-agent

I've already shutdown and start again the vm and reinstall the agent but it's still saying "Qemu guest agent not running", this is the state on Windows Services i attached the screenshot

Do you see the IP address of the VM on the overview in Proxmox? If yes, then everything is finde. Or you can check it with: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Qemu-g...communication_with_the_guest_agent_is_working

Apart from the fact that you seem to be referring to the VSS and not the agent itself, because it is set to automatic.

No i can't see the IP Address in the Overview tab

Have you set the settings as described here? https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Qemu-guest-agent#Host

Then stop the VM and start it again. A reboot is not enough here.

I poweroff and poweron few times but nothing changed.

Which version of the VirtIO ISO did you use?

You could also use the q35 chipset and should also activate the SSD flag on the disk.

I use the latest version of VirtIO, anyway i uninstall from control panel and reinstall the qemu agent but still the problema as you can see:
