QCOW2 in use?

I have shared my NFS folder so i can use a HDD on multiple machines. I remember qemu detecting if a qcow2 file is open and in use.
Proxmox somehow doesn't detect this. Is this because of NFS? Or can this be disabled? Proxmox should disallow to start the VM in that case.
Problem is if i use a qcow2 simulatnously the file system gets currupted of course.

PVE assumes that storages and files you give to it to manage are available exclusively for usage by PVE. it does handle parallel access within PVE clusters, but there are no (and there cannot really be) safeguards against concurrent access from other systems.
