[Q] Latest kernel supporting BTRFS?

Hello!

I'm planning to install Proxmox VE on Debian Wheezy.
This Debian server is currently used as a fileserver with disks formatted in BTRFS.
My understanding is that I must use a dedicated kernel for OpenVZ.

Question:
What is the basis version of the latest kernel release from Promox?
Is this version supporting BTRFS?

we use latest stable OpenVZ kernel as our default kernel, for all details see https://git.proxmox.com/?p=pve-kernel-2.6.32.git;a=summary

btrfs is not stable and not working for OpenVZ, use ext3 for storing your OpenVZ containers.

I see... I will not install any container in BTRFS.
However, I would prefer EXT4 rather than EXT3.

Can I store OpenVZ containers in EXT4, means is this technically working? Is this (just) a question of support?

yes, ext4 also works.
